Terex is a global manufacturer of lifting and material handling equipment and services, providing lifecycle solutions that help maximize our customers' return on investment. We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our highly dynamic team in Bad Schnborn, Germany.
At our Bad Schnborn site near Karlsruhe, approximately 270 team members work to deliver a high-quality and comprehensive product portfolio with equipment for every application. This includes state-of-the-art material handling machines designed for use in ports, recycling facilities, scrap yards, and timber yards.
Your Responsibilities as Regional Sales Manager:
- Develop and align annual business plans for each dealer and customer account, and provide regular, documented feedback throughout the year on progress against plan.
- Establish dealer sales targets and provide machine sales forecasts in line with annual business plans.
- Identify new dealers within the assigned regions and support the development of new dealer accounts.
- Develop, implement, and manage sales and marketing initiatives for dealer and customer accounts.
- Secure machine orders in accordance with agreed targets while maintaining and improving profit margins.
- Coordinate and support customer and dealer visits to the factory as required.
- Ensure all dealer accounts are formally governed by up-to-date agreements that comply with Terex standards.
Your Qualifications as Regional Sales Manager:
- Preferred university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in direct sales and dealer management within the capital goods industry.
- Strong dealer management skills with a proven track record of increasing sales volume and maximizing margins.
- Affinity for technical products within the capital equipment sector.
- Demonstrated success in growing sales within a region through new customer acquisition and dealer development.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of principles and practices related to new business development, key account management, product marketing, and sales.
- In-depth technical, sales, and application-specific knowledge within the construction equipment industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 60%).
