Job Description

The Schluter Systems Regional Manager (RM) position will be responsible for supporting the Territory Managers, Commercial Managers, Field Representatives, and Field Technical Managers within the region. Together with the sales team, the RM will reinforce and advance the Schluter Systems business model, philosophies, and strategic objectives. The RM will act to support, monitor, and enhance the skills of all field personnel.

The RM will act as a liaison between field management and corporate management and will report primarily to the Regional Sales Director and other corporate management as necessary. Responsibilities Business Partner Development: Establish and maintain direct relationships with key distribution partners, key Authorized Schluter Dealers (ASDs), and other important contacts (e.g., Regional VPs, Regional Sales and Operations Managers) to ensure that our core philosophies, business model, and corporate initiatives are understood, accepted, and supported, maximizing synergistic opportunities between Schluter Systems and our partners. Communication Liaison: Monitor and review reports from Territory Managers, Commercial Managers, Field Representatives, and Field Technical Managers to address opportunities and challenges.

Supply Schluter corporate management with a yearly regional sales plan. Recruiting: Aid the Director of Sales in recruiting and evaluating additional field management personnel within the region as needed. Education and Training: Support education and training events as required.

Complaint Resolution: Resolve project complaints within the region; have authority to compensate claimants with Schluter product(s) up to $2,000, ensuring compliance with the Schluter Technical Department. Consult with corporate management on larger or potentially litigious claims. Corporate Representation: Represent Schluter corporate management at key functions and meetings within the region.

Sales Team Reviews: Conduct performance evaluations with each sales team member individually on a quarterly basis and submit progress reports to the Regional Sales Director within 30 days after quarter end. Other Responsibilities: Develop and maintain all national programs in the region (builder programs, buying group programs, special national account customers). Maintain all rebates in place within the region.

Perform special duties or initiatives at the discretion of Schluter corporate management. Complete special projects as directed. Represent Schluter Systems L.P. professionally and enthusiastically in all matters.

Requirements Outside sales experience with tile installation materials or other technical sales. Familiarity with company products, territory, markets, and clients. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills. Time and territory management abilities. Proven problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Ability to attend and fully participate in national, regional, and team meetings with overnight stays. Ability to travel daily up to 80% of the time to meet customers.

Ability to drive a company vehicle and pass a driving record background check; company‑owned vehicles may only be operated by authorized employees for business purposes. Abide by company rules and policies.
