Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and increasing prime and nonāprime retail automotive business within the Quebec Region. This Regional Manager (RM) will work with the Quebec Sales Teams to help them grow their active dealer base and complement their sales efforts through equipping, training, and coaching them to attain their annual sales targets. The RM is expected to attend local or national meetings, conventions, and trade shows, while managing special projects as requested by management.
Key Duties and Accountabilities Target Achievement - Responsibility for the achievement of regional sales targets. Market Education - Actively ensure teams are educated on market influences and fraud prevention, signed dealer network volume and opportunities. Operational Consistency - Ensure that the Quebec team is consistently completing their District Performance reports and strategizing with the RM on a monthly cadence.
Sales Growth - Increase the buying and selling of the complete suite of services. Strategy & Implementation - Actively participate with leadership in targetāsetting and activities designed to increase revenue and engagement. Team Enablement - Train, equip, and enable the ACC/CIBC Sales Teams to meet or exceed their respective revenue and engagement targets.
Collaboration - Work across the organization and leverage internal information between areas of expertise to attain goals. Leadership Liaison - Act as a resource for the VP of Sales and supporting regional staff to promote sales targets and resolve issues efficiently. Staff Development - Foster teamwork and the ongoing development of regional staff.
Education & Experience Industry Experience - Seven (7) to ten (10) years in customer service or the financial services industry is mandatory. Leadership - At least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Technical Expertise - Technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.
Sales Excellence - Excellent sales skills with the ability to develop business relationships with dealer principals and decisionāmakers. Personal Qualities SolutionāOriented - Must carry character traits that are solutionāoriented; as this industry is fastāpaced, the candidate must look for the path to the best outcome for our customers. Communication - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SelfāManagement - Selfāmotivator with the ability to manage time and effort effectively, balancing between home office, and travel within the Region. Organization - Robust time and resource management skills with a high ability to prioritize. Mobility - Willingness to travel with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
