Refrigeration Engineer

Position :Refrigeration Engineer Department : Research & Development Reports To : R&D Manager Location : Sharjah, United Arab Emirates Industry : Refrigeration Industry Purpose of Job Role To assist the Plant Management in all activities of the R&D lab related to the refrigeration system of the assigned factory and to handle the lab including all related reports, documentation and correspondence. Essential Responsibilities ✓ To carry out all lab tests planned as per defined standards. ✓ To maintain the lab library including all testing procedures, standards, test reports, calibration records and correspondence. ✓ To prepare test reports as per Everest format or customer’s supplied format and have it approved by the concerned authorities ✓ To follow up the delivery of samples (to be tested) to the lab to ensure proper identification and traceability of samples after the completion of test and to obtain necessary approvals for disposal ✓ To follow up the receipt of all lab equipments or test packages as approved for procurement ✓ To follow up the calibration of all the lab’s equipments and to ensure the availability of updated calibration records/certificates. ✓ To assist in planning and scheduling the approval of Everest Products by third parties ✓ To inspect samples prior to delivery to third party and ensure compliance to the standards. ✓ To handle all correspondence related to Research and Development department. ✓ To ensure all required Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards are inplace. Previous Experience/ Skills ✓ Minimum 1 year working experience in refrigeration and testing applications. ✓ Experience with PepsiCo and Coke merchandizing equipment standards in advantageous. ✓ This job requires an organized person who is knowledge driven and has a scientific approach.

Education ✓ Degree in Mechanical Engineering with major in Refrigeration and Air conditioning. ✓ Well versed with MS Office and should be excellent in dealing with MS Excel. Language Skills ▪ Fluent in written and spoken English ▪ Knowledge of other languages would be advantageous
