We measure success not just by outcomes, but by the long-term value we create. The Opportunity The Recruitment Manager leads end-to-end recruitment across Amplify’s client base and advisory work. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role with full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle from opportunity development through to successful placement.
This role is for someone who wants to move beyond traditional recruitment and have a seat at the table, contributing to both hiring outcomes and broader business conversations. You will build relationships, understand hiring needs, and deliver high-quality talent solutions across accounting, finance, and related functions. You’ll also contribute to broader advisory conversations, providing talent insight that supports client growth.
Working closely with the Growth team and reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you’ll play a key role in expanding Amplify’s recruitment offering, client relationships, and talent network. Why This Role Is Different You’re not stepping into a fixed recruitment desk, you’re helping build and shape the function. You’ll work closely with clients to support their growth.
You’ll also partner internally with advisory leaders to staff real client projects, giving you exposure beyond traditional recruitment. What You’ll Do Recruitment Delivery & Talent Development • Lead full-cycle recruitment: intake, role scoping, sourcing, interviewing, and placement • Headhunt and engage high-calibre accounting, finance, and related professionals • Build and maintain strong, future-ready talent pipelines • Develop detailed candidate insights to support strong hiring decisions Relationship Management • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and candidates • Deliver a consistent, high-quality experience aligned with Amplify’s values • Manage expectations, timelines, and communication throughout the process Commercial & Operational Ownership • Drive recruitment revenue through proactive relationship development and delivery • Maintain accurate data across systems (ATS, CRM, etc.) • Support contracts, fee structures, and placement documentation • Balance relationship-building with performance accountability Collaboration & Growth • Partner with Growth and Advisory teams to support client engagements • Provide talent market insights and hiring recommendations • Contribute to enterprise recruitment initiatives and broader business growth • Represent Amplify in client meetings, events, and industry interactions About You You’re a relationship-driven recruiter or accounting/finance professional who enjoys owning outcomes and working closely with clients. • Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or client-facing professional services • Strong familiarity with accounting & finance roles (CPA or finance background is an asset) • Proven ability to build relationships and deliver results • Commercially aware and comfortable in a performance-driven environment • Strong communication, organization, and judgment • Growth-minded and aligned with Amplify’s values and purpose Location We are a remote, work-from-client organization based in Calgary.
There are expectations to be available for events, including after-hours, which will primarily be held in Calgary. There will be opportunities to work in downtown Calgary from Amplify's office and in-person meetings with the team or clients. Much of the processes and activities may be completed virtually which gives the Recruitment Manager the opportunity to work from home (or anywhere).
Compensation Competitive base salary, performance-based incentives, health benefits, and generous vacation. Compensation is aligned with experience and reviewed annually.
