Recovery Manager

We’re now looking for a Resolutions & Recoveries Specialist to join a growing and fast-paced finance team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of complex, high-risk loan cases and play a critical role in protecting the business.

The Opportunity You’ll manage a portfolio of defaulted and over-term loans, working closely with borrowers and key stakeholders to deliver effective recovery strategies. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, negotiation, and making commercially sound decisions. What You’ll Be Doing Managing a portfolio of defaulted, high-risk, and over-term loans Assessing borrower financial positions and recoverability Recommending exit strategies (refinance, asset sale, development completion) Conducting cost-benefit analysis on recovery approaches Preparing structured recovery strategy reports for senior stakeholders Coordinating with solicitors, valuers, and insolvency practitioners Monitoring legal proceedings and asset disposals Controlling recovery costs to maximise returns Producing reporting, forecasts, and MI Ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk appetite What We’re Looking For Experience in recoveries, collections, credit control, or financial services Strong analytical and risk assessment skills Excellent organization and ability to manage complex caseloads Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Proficiency in Excel and data handling A proactive, solutions-focused mindset Nice to Have Experience with delinquent accounts and recovery strategies Background in short-term lending Exposure to legal processes, insolvency, or enforcement Experience working toward recovery targets/KPIs What’s in It for You?
