We are seeking a Legal Assistant Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Our Law firm focuses on real estate files, estate planning, and other areas as needed.
Must be computer proficient. Prefer someone who has experience in residential real estate law and be well versed with the Multiboard 8.0 contract. Experience in residential property tax appeals is a plus.
The practice is growing so estate planning and immigration law experience would be great. Must be organized, diligent and able to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Legal writing
- Communicate with clients and real estate agents
- Record and store client information
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
- Familiarity with Real Estate contracts
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Organized
