Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £150 - 190 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Secondary School in Leeds, who are looking to appoint an RE Teacher. The school provides a supportive learning environment where high expectations, inclusivity and academic achievement are at the heart of everything they do.
The school is looking to appoint an RE Teacher on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful RE Teacher will teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to cover other Humanities lessons when required, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote excellent progress and behaviour.
The successful RE Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Religious Education specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching RE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- The confidence to deliver other Humanities subjects when required
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
