Job Description

Job Purpose

Ensure the effectiveness, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), promoting compliance with applicable ISO standards, identifying improvement opportunities, supporting organizational strategy, and ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management System

  • Coordinate certification, recertification, and maintenance processes for applicable ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025, among others).
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization, certification bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Update and control system documentation in accordance with process changes, legal requirements, and applicable standards.
  • Ensure the integrity and traceability of quality records.
  • Promote the standardization of organizational processes through effective document management.

Audits

  • Develop and manage the annual internal audit program.
  • Plan and conduct process, product, system, and supplier audits, when applicable.
  • Support external certification, surveillance, recertification, and customer audits.
  • Ensure proper handling of audit findings and nonconformities.
  • Monitor action plans and verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.
  • Train internal auditors and support the development of audit teams.

Performance Management

  • Develop, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Quality and the IMS.
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate management reviews of performance results with relevant departments.
  • Support the establishment of quality objectives and strategic plans.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments across organizational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, normative, and contractual requirements.
  • Support departments in implementing controls and risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor updates to standards, regulations, and requirements affecting the business.
  • Maintain compliance evidence for audits and inspections.

Nonconformity Management

  • Coordinate root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Apply quality tools such as:
  • 5 Whys;
  • Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagram;
  • 8D Methodology;
  • PDCA Cycle;
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis);
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Define, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of nonconformities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify waste, risks, and process optimization opportunities.
  • Develop methodologies and tools to enhance the maturity of the Management System.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and problem-solving workshops.

Management Review

  • Consolidate data and information for Management Review meetings.
  • Present performance indicators, risks, opportunities, and Management System results.
  • Monitor the implementation of actions defined by leadership.
  • Support senior management in decision-making related to IMS performance.

Training and Development

  • Deliver internal training on ISO standards, quality tools, and IMS requirements.
  • Develop training materials and awareness programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of conducted training sessions.
  • Support the development of a quality and continuous improvement culture.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Quality Management, Process Management, Management Systems, or related areas is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent certification in other applicable standards.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Advanced English proficiency is considered a strong advantage.
