The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring all products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and good manufacturing practices. You will lead quality investigations, manage CAPA and risk processes, and utilize data analysis to drive continuous improvement and compliance across the organization:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems that drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across all departments.
- Lead and oversee corrective action and preventive action (CAPA), risk management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits, quality investigations, complaint handling, and supplier quality assurance activities including auditing, qualification, and compliance monitoring to ensure supplier and organizational performance meets contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis, predictive quality analytics, and process excellence methodologies to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex quality issues, anticipate and mitigate potential risks, and support product and process validation.
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and collaborate across teams to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, communicate quality compliance status, business needs, and procedural updates, fostering a culture of proactive quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Champion sustainability and compliance initiatives by integrating eco-friendly quality standards into organizational policies and advising manufacturing and design teams on quality control objectives, product reliability, and cost minimization strategies.
- Manage calibration activities to ensure measurement instruments meet required standards and accuracy, interpret blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to guide quality control and product validation efforts.
- Mentor, inspire, and supervise a high-performing quality team, cultivating leadership skills, promoting accountability and innovation, delegating tasks effectively to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
- Manage department budgeting, resource allocation, and performance standards to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and approve quality reports, audit findings, and corrective action plans, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality management roles
- Proven expertise in quality systems and quality assurance
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing quality teams and cross-functional projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Experience in driving business growth and innovation through effective quality management practices
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ CQE
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable quality improvements
- Strong leadership presence with experience in managing diverse teams and driving cross-departmental collaboration
- Proficiency in modern quality management software and tools
- Capability to lead and manage through ambiguity, conflict, and organizational complexity while maintaining focus on quality objectives
