Your tasks Develop, implement, and maintain the site Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001, BRCGS Packaging, FSC/PEFC where applicable). Ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards Lead internal and external audits, including customer, certification, and supplier audits Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely closure Oversee quality control activities across printing, finishing, and converting processes (flexo, coating, die-cutting, slitting) Define and monitor quality KPIs such as defect rates, waste, customer complaints, and right-first-time performance Approve raw materials, inks, adhesives, substrates, and finished products Ensure effective change control for materials, processes, and artwork revisions Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, complaints, and technical quality discussions Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for customer complaints Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw material quality and manage supplier performance Provide quality training to production, prepress, and technical teams Promote a strong quality culture and awareness across the plant Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Analyze data and trends to reduce waste, rework, and non-conformities Support new product development, trials, and process optimization from a quality perspective Ensure quality procedures align with health, safety, and environmental requirements Support compliance with food-contact, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic packaging regulations where applicable Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Printing Technology, Packaging, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5–8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in labels, packaging, or printing Proven experience managing a Quality Management System in a production setting Experience with printing and converting processes is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and packaging-related standards (e.g., BRCGS Packaging) Understanding of label materials, inks, adhesives, color management, and print quality standards Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) Familiarity with ERP and quality management software Detail-oriented with a structured, analytical approach Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sales, and technical teams Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Fluent in French and very good English skills (written and spoken) #J-18808-Ljbffr
