Only local candidates will be considered" Quality Manager (Aerospace, Defense, & Medical) About the Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a premier R&D and manufacturing firm specializing in high-speed permanent magnet motor generators, magnetic bearing systems, and power electronics. In business for over 25 years, the company serves large global organizations by providing innovative, highly efficient product enhancements for demanding sectors, including aerospace, defense, energy, and medical.

With a dedicated team of fewer than 100 employees, the organization is currently expanding its in-house capabilities and becoming more vertically integrated. This role is a vital addition to the leadership team, responsible for overseeing a robust quality system as the company continues to scale. Responsibilities Manage all quality assurance functions and ensure that policies and procedures are accurately interpreted and implemented.

Initiate, lead, and facilitate quality improvement and strategic initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards. Direct internal audits and facilitate external surveillance visits and recertification audits as required.

Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience in product manufacturing with direct responsibility for overall quality assurance and control processes. Proven experience implementing and working within formal quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015). Prior quality leadership in a low-volume/high-mix environment, with a focus on complex, high-precision machined parts and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Proficiency in 5S, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and 8D problem-solving. Experience with supplier capability assessment, problem resolution, and supply chain improvement initiatives. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with meticulous follow-up skills. CQE or Lean Six Sigma certification is highly desired. Requirements U.S.
