Quality Engineer - Customer Complaints & Product Improvement (Mid-Senior level)

Location: Wrzesnia – hybrid working model
Employment type: Employment contract


Role description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer responsible for driving product quality improvement based on customer complaints and after-sales data related to furniture and garden products.
The role focuses on root cause analysis, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and supplier quality improvement, in close cooperation with suppliers, the product development department, and international stakeholders.
This is a specialist (mid-level) position and does not involve direct people management.


Your responsibilities

  • Responsibility for quality performance of assigned products and sourcing factories
  • Analysis of customer complaints, after-sales data, defect trends, and return reasons
  • Leading root cause analysis (RCA) and defining corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Cooperation with suppliers in implementing and monitoring quality improvement actions
  • Supporting new product development from a quality engineering perspective
  • Improving and standardizing quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Coordinating quality-related topics with suppliers, product development, sourcing, and international teams
  • Preparing structured quality reports and monitoring the implementation of agreed actions
  • Supporting inspections, audits, and factory visits when required


Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • 3–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering / Supplier Quality
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience working with customer complaints, after-sales data, or defect analysis
  • Good knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and corrective and preventive actions
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, and product specifications
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Independence, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate in an international environment

Nice to have (not mandatory):

  • Experience in the furniture, garden, or consumer products industry
  • Participation in product development or industrialization projects
  • Experience working with international suppliers
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (wood, metal, upholstery, assembly, packaging)
