Competitive Compensation: $100Kโ€“$135K base salary (DOE) + performance incentives 401(k) with Generous Company Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Generous PTO, Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holidays Career Growth: Hands-on mentorship and client-facing opportunities from day one Collaborative Environment: Join a close-knit, team-oriented firm with a culture of accountability and excellence Statewide Reach: Opportunity to represent clients across Florida, including public hearings and board meetings Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties: Represent community development districts and other special districts in Florida Attend and advise at public hearings, board meetings, and legislative sessions (some travel required) Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, development agreements, procurement documents, and financing transactions Provide counsel on land use, real estate, construction, and public policy issues Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and client communications Work directly with clients, elected officials, and government representatives from the start Collaborate with senior attorneys in a team-based environment while taking ownership of assigned matters You should have most of the following: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar Strong academic performance (top 15% preferred) or equivalent professional accomplishments 0โ€“3 years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to public finance, real estate, construction, land use, or local government law Excellent legal writing, research, and public speaking skills Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment Intellectual curiosity, personal accountability, and client-facing confidence Willingness to travel within Florida (including occasional evening hearings) Interested in hearing more?
