QA Automation Engineer – Selenium & API Testing

The Role

A technology consultancy is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise transformation programme.

You will develop and maintain automated tests for backend systems, APIs and integrations. The role requires strong Selenium experience, alongside the ability to build reliable automation frameworks and work closely with developers, QA teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Test backend services, APIs, integrations and system workflows.
• Build reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse test results, identify defects and provide clear reporting.

Required Experience

• Experience testing backend applications and APIs.
• Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD environments and automated deployments.
• Experience with Java, Python or a similar automation language.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience with REST API testing, SQL, Git and Agile delivery environments would be beneficial.

Candidates must be able to work onsite in Dublin three days per week and have the right to work in Ireland.
