Job Description Job Description QC Analyst – Microbiology (Contract) – BioPhase Location: San Diego, CA Assignment: 4-month contract Pay: $33–35/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm About the Role Our client’s Quality Control team is seeking a Microbiology QC Analyst to support critical testing activities in a GMP environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in microbiology who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated lab setting. What You’ll Do Perform microbiology QC testing on in-process, release, and stability samples Conduct environmental monitoring and aseptic technique assessments Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with GMP requirements Assist with investigations, deviations, and lab support activities Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field 2+ years of industry QC laboratory experience in microbiology (GMP environment strongly preferred) Hands-on experience with microbial techniques (bioburden, endotoxin, sterility, environmental monitoring, etc.) Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom practices Familiarity with deviations, CAPA, and GMP documentation practices Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently
