Job Description Job Description Job Title: QC Analyst I – Microbiology Location: Memphis, TN 38118 Duration: 7 Months Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Interview Process: Virtual Interview (45 Minutes) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Analyst I – Microbiology to support environmental monitoring, product release testing, and raw material testing in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, microbiology knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory setting with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Perform environmental monitoring including: Viable air particulate sampling Non-viable particulate sampling Surface and personnel monitoring Conduct routine microbiological testing and sample processing Maintain laboratory inventory, media, reagents, and supplies Follow SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure data integrity Support laboratory upkeep, documentation, filing, and physical inventories Utilize GMP systems such as MODA and other laboratory software systems Review test results and documentation for accuracy and completeness Support timely product release testing activities Work in cleanroom environments following gowning procedures Perform additional laboratory-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related scientific discipline 0–2 years of laboratory experience preferred Experience in cGMP/FDA-regulated environments is a plus Knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities Preferred Skills: Experience with: Laser particle counters Viable air samplers Microscopes Endosafe® instrumentation PCR BacT/ALERT systems Additional Information Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with full gowning requirements Fast-paced and highly technical laboratory setting
