QA Data Engineer

About Position: We are looking for an experienced Data Quality Engineer with a strong background in QA Automation, Python, PyTest, Azure Databricks, and ETL validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of data pipelines and analytical solutions across our enterprise data platforms. Role: QA Data Engineer Location: Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi Experience: 6 to 12 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines using Python and PyTest.

Build and execute data quality test cases, including schema validation, data profiling, business rules validation, and end-to-end data reconciliation. Implement CI/CD‑driven test automation practices for scalable and repeatable quality checks. Develop reusable automation libraries and utilities to support data testing needs.

Expertise You'll Bring: 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation using Python and PyTest. Strong experience with Azure Databricks (Delta Lakes, Spark SQL, Notebooks). Solid understanding of ETL workflows, data warehousing concepts, and data quality frameworks.

Proficiency in SQL for data validation, complex queries, joins, aggregates, and debugging. Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Professional Experience810 years overall experience in Quality Engineering with a focus on data testing. Experience validating large-scale data pipelines in distributed data systems. Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
