QA Automation Engineer

Clearance: US Citizen required / Must obtain Public Trust Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Playwright Create and execute data-driven test scripts for web applications Design comprehensive test scenarios, including edge cases Perform cross-browser and API testing; integrate API validations Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (DevOps environments) Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams Track defects in JIRA; maintain test traceability Validate performance and reliability across environments Required Experience 5+ years in software testing (manual & automation) 3+ years building automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript or Java with Selenium and/or Playwright Strong programming & OOP fundamentals Experience with Page Object Model and modular framework design API testing (Postman, REST Assured) CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) SQL proficiency Preferred AI-driven automation tools (self-healing, intelligent test generation) Performance testing & Chrome DevTools AWS exposure Agile / Confluence experience Soft Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive
