Location: New Jersey, New York, Charlotte, NC Duration: 12 months+ Pay Rate Range: $72-$77/hr. Top Requirements: Must be expert in PostgreSQL & Python Be able to code on the fly – build schemas, write applications from scratch, cron jobs, pandas, automation, etc. Be able to write API’s and RESTful services Experience with Django or Flask Comfortable with handling unstructured and semi-structured data and turning it into structured data that stakeholders can draw meaningful insights from Primary/Required Skills: Core Python, Flask, GraphQL, FastAPI, React, MUI, Next.js, Remix, Tailwind, Microservices, Linux, PostgreSQL, Podman Desired Skills: Containers/Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible, Shell, Hadoop, Cloud Concepts, RDBMS Concepts Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: The candidate will be working on an infrastructure optimization initiative, managing over 5,200 servers used by various lines of business.

Their primary focus will be on improving capacity management and infrastructure inventory tracking, ensuring hardware resources are efficiently utilized or repurposed to support growing client demands. This involves assessing whether high-density servers are being used to their full potential, identifying opportunities for hardware replacements, and streamlining the process of understanding infrastructure capacity. The team is currently facing challenges in evaluating their existing resources, which has slowed their ability to accommodate new client requests.

The candidates role will help establish a structured approach to infrastructure assessment, making it easier to forecast needs and optimize resources for scalability. Ultimately, they’ll be contributing to a more efficient system that allows the organization to better manage existing hardware while planning for future growth.
