Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA . This position involves designing scalable microservices, developing FASTAPI-based solutions, and working with LangChain/LangGraph to build advanced AI-driven workflows. Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer Job Responsibilities Develop and optimize high‑performance Python applications using advanced concepts such as asynchronous programming, multiprocessing, multithreading, and concurrency. Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and REST API solutions using FASTAPI within a distributed system architecture. Implement robust testing practices using PyTest to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability across all services.

Work with LangChain, LangGraph, and MCPs to create intelligent, AI-driven workflows and automation components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, integrate microservices, and improve end-to-end application performance. Troubleshoot complex system issues related to memory management, concurrency, and API performance to ensure smooth production operations.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in core Python development and distributed systems. Strong expertise in asynchronous programming, concurrency, multiprocessing, and REST API development using FASTAPI. Proven experience building microservices architectures and working with LangChain, LangGraph, and MCPs for AI-driven application workflows.
