As a Factory Procurement Manager , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run seamlessly, sustainably, and costeffectively. This is a highly visible leadership role where your decisions directly influence production continuity, supplier performance, and operational excellence at the factory level. You will be empowered to lead endtoend purchasing activities for direct materials, MRO, and factory services-while shaping stronger supplier partnerships and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with production, planning, engineering, quality, logistics, and finance teams, you will turn supply chain strategy into daily operational impact. How You\'ll Make an Impact Lead factorylevel purchasing for direct, indirect, and service needs Ensure material availability to support production schedules Build and manage strong supplier partnerships Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing and value engineering Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules collaboratively Monitor supplier quality, delivery, and performance metrics Identify and mitigate supply, quality, and compliance risks Develop and coach a team of buyers and purchasing analysts Your Background Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment Strong knowledge of direct materials, MRP, and factory operations Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems Strong analytical, negotiation, and peopleleadership skills Preferred: CPP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications More About Us Hitachi Energy is a global leader advancing a sustainable energy future We offer meaningful careers with clear development and mobility paths Our inclusive culture values collaboration, learning, and innovation Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
