Position Information Position Title Purchasing Card Staff Auditor Requisition Number S02292P Position Category Staff Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 40 Months per year 12 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade E31 Salary FLSA Exempt Job Summary/Basic Function This position performs audits of purchasing card transactions. These audits determine appropriateness of expenditures and accuracy of processing, recording, documenting and reconciling. These audits are conducted to ensure compliance and are shared with upper leadership.
Required Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience One year auditing, accounting, purchasing or related experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Work Spaces, or similar Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Excellent communication skills Proficiency in SAP Concur or similar expense management system Experience with Higher Ed. purchasing and p-card practices Experience with Utah State procurement code Prior experience in university or college setting Familiarity with audit analytics tools to assist in identifying trends A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check? The annual salary for this position starts at $44,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package .
