Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 Hourly Location : North Mankato, MN Job Type: Seasonal Position Job Number: 11-26 Department: Public Works Division: Water Opening Date: 03/02/2026 Closing Date: 5/29/2026 11:59 PM Central Major Job Function MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS: Mowing and trimming. Maintaing flowerbeds. Painting facilities and water hydrants.
Assisting staff when necessary. Minimum Requirements for Position Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old or posses a GED. Must have a valid Minnesota drivers license.
Must be able to perform general labor including frequently lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs. and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 lbs. Supplemental Information HOURS OF WORK: The position involves 40 hours of work per week. Work hours are generally from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Overtime work may be required due to scheduling requirements or emergency situations. NATURE OF WORK: Under supervision, this position is responsible for cleaning and minor maintenance of water facilities. This position primarily consists of mowing, landscaping and building cleaning and maintenance.
