Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager – EPC Location: Kolkata About the Role: We are hiring a Project Manager – CNI EPC to lead on-site execution of Commercial & Industrial solar projects in India. You will manage everything from site handover to grid commissioning, ensuring compliance with Indian electrical safety rules, DISCOM procedures and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute and deliver CNI solar EPC projects across Indian states.
Manage on-site activities: civil work, module mounting, stringing, inverter installation, earthing and grid interconnection. Coordinate with DISCOMs for net metering/open access approvals, synchronisation and commissioning. Ensure compliance with MNRE quality standards, IEC and Indian Electricity Rules.
Track project progress using MS Project or Primavera; prepare daily/weekly reports. Manage contractor billing, material reconciliation and resource allocation. Oversee safety protocols (PPE, work permits, site audits) as per Indian construction safety norms.
Lead testing, commissioning and handover to O&M team. Qualifications & Experience: B. Tech in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering. 6–10 years of solar EPC project management experience, with at least 3 years in Indian CNI/C&I projects Hands-on experience with DISCOM liaisoning, open access execution and rooftop/ground-mount installations.
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and site management tools. Willingness to travel extensively across project sites in India. PMP certification or Electrical Supervisor License (India) is a plus.
