Project Manager – Fire Compliance & Construction Location: Leeds Contract: Full-time, Permanent About Ventro Group Ventro Group is a leading fire safety and building compliance business, delivering critical life safety services across the UK. The Role We are recruiting for a Fire Safety Project Manager in Leeds to lead passive fire protection projects from award through to completion. This is a true project management role , sitting firmly at the professional PM end of the spectrum. You will own programme, cost, risk and stakeholder governance , ensuring predictable, compliant and well-controlled delivery across multiple live projects.

We are seeking a Project Manager who plans, forecasts, mitigates and governs. What We’re Looking For Skills Programme development and critical path ownership Budget, cost plan and cashflow management Risk identification, mitigation and reporting Stakeholder and client governance Subcontractor, supplier and multi-discipline coordination Strong written and verbal reporting capability Knowledge Passive fire protection delivery (fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors) CDM Regulations and construction phase H&S planning Fire safety compliance evidence and quality management Change control and variation management Experience Proven Project Manager experience within construction, fire safety or another regulated environment Ownership of budgets, programmes and risk registers Managing multiple concurrent projects from start to finish Operating in live, occupied or high‑risk environments Behaviours Right from the Start: structured planning, quality-led delivery Extreme Ownership: accountability for outcomes, not excuses Day 1 Mindset: proactive, improvement-focused and commercially aware Role Expectations Proactive planning, strong governance, clear communication and calm control across complex delivery environments.
