Hiring: Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Treatment Projects Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 8–15 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering About Us An EPC organization specializing in water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure solutions. We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of our water and wastewater treatment projects.

Position Summary The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of: Water Treatment Plants (WTP) Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants Ultrafiltration (UF) Systems Desalination Plants Swimming Pool Water Treatment Systems Water Recycling Projects The role requires planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and successful delivery of projects within budget, quality standards, safety requirements, and agreed timelines while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution Review contracts, BOQs, technical specifications, and drawings. Develop project execution plans and schedules.

Define project milestones and deliverables. Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, and commissioning activities. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

Identify risks and resolve project bottlenecks proactively. Client Management Act as the primary point of contact for customers. Conduct project kick-off and review meetings.

Provide regular progress updates to clients. Address customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels. Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Engineering Coordination Review process design packages, P&IDs, GA drawings, and equipment schedules. Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil teams. Ensure designs comply with project specifications and statutory requirements.

Manage design revisions and approvals. Procurement & Vendor Management Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials. Monitor manufacturing schedules and critical deliveries.

Evaluate supplier performance and quality compliance. Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites. Site Management Mobilize site teams and subcontractors.

Ensure availability of manpower, tools, and materials. Supervise civil, mechanical, electrical, and piping works. Conduct site inspections and progress reviews.

Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications. Cost Control & Commercial Management Monitor project budgets and profitability. Track project costs against estimates.

Control variations and scope changes. Prepare cost reports and project forecasts. Quality & HSE Management Ensure adherence to quality plans and inspection protocols.

Conduct quality and safety audits. Implement HSE procedures and toolbox talks. Promote a zero-incident and zero-rework culture.

Commissioning & Handover Lead plant commissioning and performance trials. Verify system performance against design parameters. Train customer operators and hand over completed projects.

Obtain customer acceptance and project closure certificates. Documentation & Reporting Maintain project documentation and records. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

Track pending issues and action plans. Prepare project handover dossiers.
