Project Manager / Site Manager - Groundworks

Project / Site Manager - Groundworks & Civils - Glasgow - Long Term - May Start We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager for a long-term groundworks and civil engineering scheme based in Glasgow, with works due to commence in early May. This role will suit a hands‑on manager with a strong background in groundworks and infrastructure, capable of overseeing site operations and driving programme on a busy project. Experience working for a main contractor or managing packages from a principal contractor perspective would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities Managing day-to-day delivery of groundworks and civil engineering works Supervising subcontractors carrying out earthworks, drainage and foundations Coordinating plant, labour and materials across site Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification Liaising with client, main contractor and project team Monitoring progress and resolving site issuesMaintaining H&S and quality standards on site Requirements Proven experience as Project Manager or Site Manager within groundworks/civils Strong knowledge of drainage, earthworks and infrastructure delivery Experience on large-scale or long-term groundworks schemes Main contractor experience beneficial SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred) Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to manage site operations independently Project Details Location: Glasgow Start: Early May Duration: Long-term Type: Freelance / Contract Rate: Competitive (DOE) If you are available for a long-term opportunity in Glasgow and have strong groundworks experience, please submit your CV for consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
