Project Manager

Job Description Job Description Summary The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial mechanical construction projects, with a strong focus on tenant improvement work. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and industry partners. This position is ideal for someone who already has established relationships within the industry and can help generate repeat work through those connections.

The role is not focused on cold calling or sales, but rather maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial HVAC and tenant improvement construction projects from start to finish Maintain relationships with existing clients and industry partners to support repeat business Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor activities Review project drawings, scope, and specifications Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with field teams and service divisions to ensure successful project delivery Track job costs, budgets, and overall project financial performance Prepare bids, follow up on proposals, and assist in closing project opportunities Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects Strong background in commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects Existing relationships with contractors, property managers, or service clients preferred Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors Strong understanding of HVAC construction scopes Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Team Structure Small team environment with 3 Project Manager s working closely together Direct collaboration with Preconstruction leadership and operations Compensation & Benefits 100% employer-paid medical coverage for employees and their families Profit-sharing program at year end Strong company culture and long-term stability
