We are looking for a PeopleSoft Project Manager to join our teams and work with a leading international insurance company on a strategic PeopleSoft Financials rollout project for Mexico.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Lead and oversee the PeopleSoft Financials rollout in Mexico from an IT project management perspective.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Lead the configuration, customization, testing, and integration of the PeopleSoft solution, including inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Manage project governance activities, including steering committees, status meetings, and project reporting.
  • Identify project risks and issues, define mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee data migration activities from legacy ERP systems to PeopleSoft.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate change management activities, including communication, user training, and adoption plans.
  • Supervise go-live activities, production migration, hypercare, and post-implementation support.
  • Act as the main interface between business and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, quality, and timeline commitments.

What profile are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in PeopleSoft IT environments, including implementation and maintenance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials 9.1, 9.2, or higher.
  • Proven experience with PeopleSoft Financial modules including AP, AR, Billing, GL, CM, PC, and CA.
  • Solid understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, landscape, and interface integration.
  • Extensive experience leading PeopleSoft rollouts and ERP migration projects, including data migration activities.
  • Proven experience delivering ERP projects from analysis and design through build, testing, UAT, production migration, and post-go-live support.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including scope, budget, planning, governance, security, and data privacy management.
  • Mandatory finance background and understanding of financial processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multicultural, distributed, and remote teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced English and Spanish communication skills.
  • French will be considered a strong advantage.

  • Knowledge of PeopleCode.
  • Experience with Process Scheduler.
  • Knowledge of Application Designer.
  • Experience working in large multinational and multicultural organizations.
  • Previous experience in insurance sector projects.
  • Experience managing international ERP transformation programs.
