Project Manager

Successfully execute the program to agreed schedule budget and scope

Accountable for the relevant project management processes ie initiate plan execute monitor and control and close and the supporting processes eg scope cost time issue risk resource communication stakeholder management

Plan the program based on a defined need results in detailed scopebudgetschedule baseline

Monitor and control the work to ensure that the program remains on track and in control

Plan for and manage change

Reports on variances to the approved program baseline

Close the program to formalize acceptance of the project result and release project resources

Interface and communicate with program team management and stakeholders

Manage program work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project

Performs gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with all aspects of IT organization and business sponsors

Delivery of program aligned to overall business and technology strategies and architectures

Work within defined governance processes

Manage external contracts and suppliers where required

Support development of business cases with the customer team including leading on the solutions estimate

Lead the development of the program charter and scope and ensure delivery of the solution to schedule budget and scope

Develop objectives phasing and content of the project to deliver on the business case benefits budget and timescales

Manage to the objectives and plan by thorough risk issue and change management across both business and IT parts of the program

Ensures that quality program standards are met as prescribed by IT Services through the effective implementation or use of approved processes methodologies and deliverables

Your key responsibilities

Monitor accountable for program baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned scope budget and schedule manages variances

Ability to deliver key 12- 18 month multiphase multimillion dollar initiative

The program will support EYs strategic goals

This program will enhance EY technologys capabilities by ultimately driving better decisionmaking compliance reduced risk and greater operational efficiency

The successful candidate will need robust and effective collaboration and influencing skills bringing the key parties together and focusing on requirements whilst driving out the return on investments

They will be responsible for bridging the gap between a complex technical multistream program maintaining a focus on requirements rather than tooling delivering transparent and effective executivelevel reporting

Proactively identify and manage key risks and issues on program leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans

Identifies resolve potential points of contention for missed deliverables creates and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget

Anticipates problems before they occur defines the problem or risk identifies possible causes works with team to identify solutions selects and implements most appropriate solution

Develop and manage plans to address program strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats

Ability to balance both the science of how to perform program management and the art of program management which is learned through experience and skill trainingapplication

Analytical skills and problemsolving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a program simultaneously

Skills and attributes for success

Experience of managing IT projectsprograms with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost for large complex projects typically up to 2m 15m in value and 12 to 18 months in duration

Must have a proven track record of the successful delivery of a complex enterprise level programs

MUST be a selfstarter take ownership and run projects with minimal supervision

MUST have good communication skills and confident to work with senior stakeholders

MUST be able to hold senior stakeholders to account

Mastery in program and project management methodologies tools and templates includes project planning schedule development scope management and cost management

Track record of customer focus based on openness trust and delivering on promises

Experience across packaged and bespoke systems and infrastructure ideally on an international basis

Strong team working skills across matrixed client supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams

Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
