Your new role As a Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the organization, responsible for delivering restoration projects while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and overall project success. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee projects from initial emergency response through to completion. You will lead and support Project Coordinators, ensuring they are fully equipped and effectively utilized to meet operational demands.
You’ll maintain strong relationships with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors, ensuring all projects are delivered in line with service level agreements and client expectations. The role involves coordinating emergency response efforts, developing and managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining profitability. You will be responsible for the accuracy of estimates, managing project margins, and ensuring all restoration management systems and project files are kept current.
You will also build and maintain a reliable network of trades, ensuring all work is completed to scope and quality standards. A strong focus on customer experience is essential, with the goal of delivering consistently high service standards and outcomes. In addition, you’ll oversee invoicing and ensure accounts receivable are collected in line with company timelines, while maintaining adherence to all health and safety regulations.
What you’ll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience as a Project Manager within restoration, construction, or insurance-related environments. You will have a strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, lead teams, and deliver projects in fast-paced, time-sensitive situations. You’ll have a solid understanding of project scheduling, estimating, and financial management, along with experience working with platforms such as RMS, Xactanalysis, or similar systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, particularly when working with clients and adjusters. A thorough understanding of Ontario health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is required. You will also be proactive, organized, and solutions-focused, with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
