Project Manager

The Ecomm Guys is a Shopify Premier Partner agency. We build, migrate, and grow Shopify stores for merchants across North America.

We're hiring an experienced Project Manager to run client migrations and builds end to end. This is a delivery role for someone who already does this well and wants to own it without a bureaucracy in the way. You'll manage a portfolio of active replatforms, new builds, and Plus projects, working directly with our developers, designers, and clients.

What you'll own

• Multiple Shopify and Shopify Plus migrations and builds running in parallel, from kickoff to launch
• Migration planning and execution: data mapping, redirect strategy, SEO preservation, launch cutover
• Clear, technically accurate briefs that keep dev, design, and QA aligned
• Timelines, scope, and delivery health in our PM tool
• Early identification of technical risk and scope creep, before either becomes a problem

What you bring

• 2+ years managing client projects in Shopify
• A strong understanding of migration mechanics: product, customer, and order data migration, 301 redirect mapping, and protecting organic rankings through cutover
• Experience managing Shopify theme builds and app stack configuration, with the technical fluency to speak credibly to how the pieces fit together
• Confident client communication on video: discovery, scope negotiation, and the harder conversations
• Strong async written communication for a distributed team

Compensation and logistics

• $72,000/year + Bonuses
• Remote, Canada-based
• Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
