Project Manager - Construction Location: Toronto, Ontario (GTA) Type: Full-time, Permanent We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Major Projects group in the GTA. This role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of underground and infrastructure construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, clients, subcontractors, and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing Lead the day-to-day management and execution of Major Projects from initiation through completion Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project performance metrics Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, quality, or safety Support project planning activities including procurement, resourcing, scheduling, and risk mitigation Maintain project documentation including reporting, billing, change management, projections, and progress tracking Provide timely project reporting to senior leadership and clients Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, municipalities, consultants, and field operations teams Ensure workmanship, materials, and project deliverables meet or exceed company and client expectations Support a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable legislation What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction or infrastructure projects Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) PMP designation is required Valid Ontario driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the GTA as required Strong knowledge of construction project management processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills Ability to effectively manage timelines, budgets, priorities, and stakeholder expectations Excellent communication and relationship-management skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project Nice to Have Familiarity with underground utilities and infrastructure construction Experience working in utility construction, civil construction, or related infrastructure sectors Experience with scheduling software Experience managing unionized construction environments Pay Transparency Statement: In accordance with Ontario’s Pay Transparency requirements, the expected compensation range for this role is $150,000 – $155,000 annually, with the potential to offer up to $160,000 for candidates with exceptional experience and qualifications. Compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and overall fit for the role.
