Vendors should put a strong focus on candidate's PM skills - really ensure they actually managed the projects -Candidates should have experience managing projects on their own as well as vendor managed projects -Should know how to clear project plans in MS project; experience in HR applications, SAP or Ariba related, Veeva, ingenius, etc (experience in at least one of these) -Preference is someone with pharma experience, and GxP would be a plus (not specific to R&D) -Candidates must have excellent communication skills and not be afraid to get their hands dirty; should take ownership and not delegate or rely on vendors -Must be on site 2-3x/week but they are flexible on hours -First round will be a phone screen with Sree, second round may be on site. Feedback on the candidates submitted so far - 1. ORP noticed a pattern of relatively short tenures across multiple roles and doesn't feel confident that they could complete the projects from to start to finish. 2.

ORP does not want candidates with infra experiences. Wants resources with software development lifecycle. Role Description: The Project Manager, IT tasks include: - Master the end-to-end business process cycles (OTC, PTP, WM, TM, POD, etc.) - Become fluent with the entire IT landscape (core systems, secondary systems, interfaces, etc.) - Review business requirements and understand business rationale and the end goal - Compare multiple vendor solutions against the business requirements and prepare analysis - Present analysis to executive leadership and deliver recommendations for decision making - Build detailed budgets and manage project expenses within the approved limits - Develop project timelines, meet the defined milestones and ensure on time deliveries - Identify resource requirements and manage the assets bandwidth - Deliver weekly status reporting for each project and report to project stakeholders - Mitigate risks and provide alternative solutions and/or workarounds when needed - Manage the communication and training requirements for project deployments - Build and oversee the execution of comprehensive cutover plans during Go Lives - Manage post Go Live Hypercare and expedite resolution during production outages - Assist the Business Analysts (BAs) in delivering change requests - Improve the change request process to increase the delivery capacit - Provide project management training, tools and materials to BAs to assist with enterprise initiatives Qualifications/Experience: - 10+ years of proven experience managing IT projects - Bachelor's degree - MBA preferred - PMP Certification Preferred Required Skills Include: - Interpersonal skills that nurture the development of relationships, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration - Outstanding communication skills with ability to articulate the explanation of complex systems and processes - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a desire for accuracy and data integrity - Excellent time management with capability of multi-tasking competing priorities at times - Dynamic and agile with ability to quickly shift focus and attention based on the severity of the situation at hand
