Job Description

Project Engineer – Beauceville Job Type: Regular. The Project Engineer will be based at the Beauceville plant and report to the Regional Engineering Manager. Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and evaluate investment requests.

Take into account health and safety, quality, technical aspects, operational challenges, human resources, and financial impact. Perform technical and financial monitoring of projects. Prepare technical specifications, plans, and cost estimates.

Manage tenders and issuance of contracts in partnership with the strategic purchasing department. Coordinate the installation, commissioning of equipment, and manage the project budget. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams—internal and external—for the realization of major projects.

Act as technical advisor to other engineering team members or plants. Lead capital projects at the Beauceville plant and support other locations as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, industrial, or automation engineering.

Member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. 7–10 years of engineering experience and a proven track record of executing multidisciplinary capital projects in a multi‑stakeholder environment. Expertise in the design and installation of processes in the food and beverage sector; experience in the dairy sector is an asset. Valuable knowledge of MS Office applications and AutoCAD.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (English required to collaborate with colleagues in other Canadian provinces). Salary Salary scale 006: $100,900 to $126,100 (Base salary determined based on academic background, experience, training, and job‑related competencies).
