Project Engineer (Mechanical & Engineer) (Permanent)

Mechanical Project Engineer Location: Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent An established M&E contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building services projects is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use developments. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, an opportunity has arisen for a driven Mechanical Project Engineer to join the project delivery team based in Leicester. The Mechanical Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring mechanical packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Support the delivery of mechanical building services packages across multiple projects Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation Monitor project progress against programme requirements Support commissioning activities and project handovers Manage technical queries and provide engineering support to delivery teams Previous experience within Mechanical M&E contracting Experience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installations Ability to work within fast-paced project environments Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience Pension contribution Career progression and development opportunities This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing M&E contractor offering long-term career development, varied projects, and the opportunity to be part of a successful delivery team.
