Advance water infrastructure in Burnaby as a Project Engineer for Metro Vancouver’s Water Services Department. This role focuses on engineering, project management, and data-driven asset strategies. This position involves various aspects of engineering and project management, supporting Asset Management and Business Support.
Candidates will work on critical water supply projects, lead infrastructure planning, assess asset conditions, and make data-driven recommendations. You should enjoy tackling complex technical challenges and collaborating across engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee engineering and project management functions • Manage project budgets, schedules, and specifications • Analyze system performance and lifecycle risks • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Conduct asset performance management and data analysis Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline • Professional Engineer designation eligibility • Strong technical and project management skills • Excellent written and oral communication abilities • Valid B.C.
