Job Description
Project Engineer – Monklands Hospital Replacement Project Company: Laing O'Rourke (Expanded) | Location: Glasgow, Scotland (initially, then Airdrie). We will be delivering Scotland's first fully digital and net zero carbon hospital through the Monklands Replacement Project (MRP). The new hospital is a significant capital project with massive benefits for healthcare, the economy and local community across Lanarkshire and Scotland.
Role & Responsibilities Utilise a Digital Engineering model to create Visual Method Statements and Visual Task sheets, presenting information to team members. Fully implement and ensure compliance with the LOR Management of Temporary Works procedure on projects and explain these procedures to others. Determine appropriate methods of dimensional control, taking advice from specialists where required, and ensure setting‑out data is controlled.
