Project Engineer

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE BUSINESS: CIRCOR INDUSTRIAL LOCATION: COIMBATORE, INDIA DIRECT REPORTING: PROJECT MANAGER FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: NA POSITION DETAILS Position Summary Coordinate end-to-end order fulfilment and support New Product Development (NPD). Manage the full lifecycle from Purchase Order receipt through engineering, production, testing & clearances, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Handle engineered-to-order (ETO) and configure-to-order (CTO) projects.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage priorities and keep management and customers updated. Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to meet customer expectations. Principal Activities Manage the customer orders from receipt to dispatch acting as a single point of contact.

Review customer specifications, datasheets, GA drawings with relevant teams and ensure technical alignment before execution. Plan and monitor production activities including machining, assembly, testing, and painting. Track and control projects documentation and ensure objectives are being met.

Drive New Product Development (NPD) & product transition projects adhering to the Gate review process. Monitor project timelines, identify risks (technical, supply, production), and implement mitigation plans. Lead project meetings including kick-off, design review, customer updates, and internal production reviews.

Track and control all Project and order documentation CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS • 4–5 years of relevant experience managing customer orders within a similar industry • Strong communication skills across both technical and commercial domains • Customer-focused approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset • Proven ability to manage multiple engineered orders and development projects concurrently Knowledge Skills & Abilities Highly organized with strong project management and execution capabilities Proven ability to collaborate effectively to meet both organizational and customer expectations Experienced in reviewing, interpreting, and clearly communicating contractual and technical specifications Skilled in leading internal and external project meetings, including order handovers, kick-offs, and design reviews Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across diverse geographical locations Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications, including MS Project Experience in managing New Product Development (NPD) projects following structured stage-gate review processes Education & Experience Education: B.E in Mechanical / Instrumentation Experience: 5 years of experience CIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
