Our client is a global engineering manufacturer supplying innovative automation, packaging and production solutions to customers across the food, pharmaceutical and medical sectors.

With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they work with some of the world's leading manufacturers and continue to invest heavily in both technology and people. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Engineer to join their Dublin-based team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Projects Manager, the successful Project Engineer will work within a fast-paced multi-project environment, supporting the delivery of customer projects from quotation through to installation and completion.

This role combines technical engineering, project coordination and customer engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to develop their career within project delivery and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of engineering quotations and technical proposals
• Reviewing and supporting customer technical specifications and requirements
• Planning, coordinating and scheduling project activities
• Supporting complex equipment installations and project delivery activities
• Managing project status reporting and change communications
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout project lifecycles
• Participating in customer meetings and resolving project-related issues
• Coordinating communication between customers, engineering teams and stakeholders
• Supporting factory acceptance testing and project implementation activities

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within project engineering, automation, packaging equipment, food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical devices or industrial engineering environments. However, we are also open to candidates from closely related industries with strong technical and customer-facing experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Engineering degree, diploma or relevant technical qualification
• Project engineering or project delivery experience within a technical environment
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training and project requirements

Ideally based in Dublin but open to candidates located throughout Dublin, Kildare, Meath and the surrounding region.
