This role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring quality standards, and supporting business development efforts while partnering with leadership to align projects with company objectives.

A Typical Day Might Include Leading and managing project managers and design teams on land development and public works projects, ensuring performance, quality, and delivery standards are met. Driving business development efforts by building client relationships, meeting with municipalities and agencies, and supporting RFPs, SOQs, and presentations. Overseeing project execution including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and reviewing major work orders and construction budgets.

Collaborating with leadership on strategic planning, system improvements, and reporting on departmental performance and project activities. Required Education / Licensing / Certifications Bachelor’s degree required. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software for the market. Required Qualifications 8+ years of managerial experience. 8+ years of experience in Land Development engineering. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive performance.

Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ideally, You Should Also Have Experience working with cities, counties, and local agencies.
