Job Overview

McAze is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Site Lead to support residential and commercial renovation projects across Toronto and the GTA. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, trade partners, materials, schedules, site progress, and quality control while maintaining clear communication with clients and the project team. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident managing multiple moving parts on active construction sites. You should be able to identify potential delays or risks early, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure projects move efficiently from initial site work through final completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily site activities, crews, subcontractors, materials, and deliveries.
  • Maintain project schedules and track progress against planned timelines.
  • Communicate project updates, site conditions, and scheduling changes clearly.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, trade partners, and internal team members.
  • Perform regular site and quality-control checks.
  • Identify potential delays, deficiencies, safety concerns, and project risks early.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, measurements, photos, and progress records.
  • Confirm materials and required resources are available before scheduled work.
  • Help coordinate inspections, corrections, deficiencies, and final project handovers.
  • Maintain clean, organized, safe, and professional job sites.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous construction coordination, renovation management, or site-lead experience.
  • Strong scheduling, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent client and trade-partner communication.
  • Ability to identify problems early and coordinate practical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of renovation/construction sequencing and job-site operations.
  • Professional conduct and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Valid driver's licence, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to project sites across Toronto and the GTA.
