Job Description
Responsibilities Functional leadership of program management teams with direct supervision of one or more direct reports. Independently drive team growth and development plans and support individuals' execution & development activities such as training, mentorship and guiding growth opportunities. Lead crossāfunctional programs to standardize software and improve the endātoāend customer experience across a multiāproduct portfolio.
Direct strategic shared services programsāsuch as unified identity/login, licensing, API strategy, and cloud operationsāensuring alignment with overarching business goals. Collaborate with and influence leaders across multiple business units to gain buyāin and drive the adoption of common standards and platforms. Develop and manage strategic program roadmaps focused on reducing customer fragmentation, consolidating platforms, and increasing internal operational efficiency.
Use and make improvement recommendations to established tools, approaches, methodologies, and templates to guide and document the plan and communicate it to the team. Own all aspects of program planning and execution fully autonomously. Organize crossāfunctional activities, ensuring program completion on schedule and within budget constraints.
Own regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and documentation of progress. Balance scope, schedule, and budget considerations to ensure program and business objectives are achieved. Assume self and team accountability for program success.
Prepare and present status updates and deliverables to seniorālevel audiences. Independently engage additional resources as needed to address obstacles or delays. Proactively provide recommendations for issue resolution and adjust the plan as delays or obstacles are experienced.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all PM techniques. Utilize PM tools & techniques in scheduling and staffing plans with an understanding of task duration and dependencies. Develop comprehensive risk management plans.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of development processes and product launch scope and activities. Demonstrate ability to navigate complex problems and overcome ambiguity with limited manager oversight. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
Qualifications Bachelorās degree in a related field (MS preferred). 12+ years of experience, plus at least 3 years in a peopleāleader role. Effective in presenting and communicating (verbal and written) and facilitating to peers, direct reports, and executive audiences. Proficient in MS Office or similar.
Comfortable and experienced in delegating and requesting followāup. PMP certification preferred. Proven experience managing complex, largeāscale software programs in a multiāproduct or multiābusinessāunit environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, build consensus among senior leaders, and influence technical and business teams without direct authority. Strong understanding of identityāmanagement concepts including single signāon, OAuth, and related identities. Deep knowledge of APIāfirst design principles, API lifecycle management, and strategies to build and scale developer tools and platforms.
Understanding of shared cloud platforms, DevOps principles, and strategies for creating operational efficiencies at scale. Experience with software licensing and monetization strategies (subscription, consumptionābased, perpetual). Ability to connect technical program goals to business outcomes such as improved customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and new revenue opportunities.
Experience creating, implementing, and governing technical standards across a matrixed organization. Familiar with and has used AI tools in an enterprise setting and demonstrates integrating workflows with AI for efficiencies. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $156,960.00 ā $235,440.00 per year.
Annual Incentive Compensation: target equal to 20% of base pay, in accordance with the applicable incentive plan. Travel required: 10ā20% of time.
