Job Purpose
Execute routine inspections and predictive/preventive maintenance activities on topside systems and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations in accordance with company procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and supervisor instructions.
Responsibilities
Perform routine rounds throughout the process plant to monitor system and equipment performance and report abnormal conditions.
Execute first-line maintenance on process systems and equipment in accordance with CMMS work orders, daily inspections, and supervisor instructions.
Conduct line walks to verify proper system isolations before Permit to Work (PTW) release.
Prepare systems and equipment for maintenance activities, including draining, cleaning, and purging prior to handover.
Perform preservation activities, visual inspections, vibration, temperature and noise checks, oil changes and top-ups, cleaning of filters, strainers, drains, and sight glasses, gasket replacement (when specific competency is not required), and paint touch-ups.
Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical, or related Engineering fields, from a recognized educational institution.
- Recent graduate with up to 2 years of graduation.
- Basic knowledge of industrial operations, maintenance, process systems, or equipment inspection gained through academic studies, internships, or practical training.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in offshore operations, first-line maintenance, equipment inspections, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- English: Intermediate (mandatory for Brazilian candidates).
