Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Small specialty chemical company is looking for an experienced chemical manufacturing leader to serve as a Production Supervisor at their facility in Elk Grove. If you have experience managing people in a batch chemical manufacturing environment and are looking to join a growing company, this could be a great opportunity for you! Duties: Production Oversight Check and verify raw materials for each batch.

Make sure the correct equipment and mixer blades are used. Ensure the team follows all production steps and procedures. Complete batch sheets accurately and on time.

Keep production workflow smooth and productive throughout the shift. Equipment and Processes Oversee proper setup and use of mixing equipment. Regularly check equipment to ensure it's working properly and safely.

Keep machines and work areas clean and in good condition. Safety and Cleanliness Enforce safety rules and make sure everyone follows them. Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe.

Ensure equipment is well-maintained. Waste and Environmental Management Make sure production waste is disposed of properly. Secure trash in designated dumpsters to avoid spillage or litter.

Follow good practices for waste sorting and environmental care. Shipping and Inventory Manage incoming and outgoing shipments. Organize loading, unloading, and material storage.

Keep inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies well-organized. Packaging Department Supervise packaging work to meet quality standards. Manage staff to hit daily packaging goals.

Work with other departments to keep things running smoothly. Production Scheduling & batch ticket generation Salary $50,000 - $80,000 Benefits Health Insurance Technical Qualifications: High school diploma or BS degree. Supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
