Job Description Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supports individuals with disabilities in developing vocational and employment-related skills within a structured, supportive environment. Provides hands-on training in tasks such as assembly, packaging, and sorting while ensuring safety, monitoring performance, and adapting work assignments as needed. Maintains a positive and productive atmosphere that promotes confidence, independence, and readiness for potential competitive employment. Key responsibilities include on-the-job instruction, task modification and accommodation, quality control, behavioral support, and assisting the workshop supervisor with daily operations, documentation, and program requirements. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides daily habilitation, vocational programming, and production services to individuals served to support skill development, independence, and economic self-sufficiency. Services are delivered in accordance with each individual’s Service Implementation Plan (SIP), the Agency’s policies and procedures, CARF accreditation standards, and all applicable funding source and regulatory requirements, as evidenced by the following responsibilities: a.) Supervision, Health, and Safety Provides continuous supervision and support to individuals served, ensuring health, safety, and well-being while monitoring movement within the facility and during community-based activities, in accordance with established supervision and risk management practices. b.) Interdisciplinary Team Participation Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, staffings, and service planning activities as requested to support person-centered service delivery and program effectiveness. c.) Program Operations and Daily Supports Performs routine daily program functions, including taking attendance; providing coverage and support during breaks and meal periods as required; and promoting appropriate behavior, engagement, and skill development during work and non-work activities. d.) Documentation and Reporting Completes timely, accurate, and compliant documentation, including progress notes and incident reports, in accordance with Agency policy, CARF accreditation standards, and funding source requirements, and submits documentation for supervisory review. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED certificate. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism, and other maladaptive behaviors. Possess a valid Driver’ license Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to working with disabled people.

Supervisory experience preferred.
