The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll oversee the afternoon shift, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to a high‑quality standard.

  • Leading and coaching Production Operators and Leading Hands
  • Coordinating daily production activities to meet customer demand
  • Monitoring safety, quality and production performance throughout the shift
  • Conducting daily toolbox meetings and shift handovers
  • Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality teams to minimise downtime and resolve production issues
  • Managing attendance, performance and employee development
  • Ensuring production reporting, ERP transactions and shift documentation are completed accurately
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor
About You

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager or Supervisor who enjoys leading and creating and maintaining a high‑performing team.

  • Previous experience leading production teams within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, quality systems and continuous improvement principles
  • Experience coordinating labour, equipment and production schedules
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and production reporting
  • A proactive approach with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
  • Confidence managing performance, coaching employees and driving accountability
