PRODUCTION OPERATIVE (BUFFING/ HAND FINISHING)
AProductionOperative(Buffing)intheMachineShopisresponsibleforBuffingandhandfinishingmachinedpartstoahighcosmeticstandardusinghandheld powertools and manualequipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibleforbuffingandhandfinishingmachinedpartstoahighcosmeticstandardusinghandheldpowertools.
- Responsibleforcleaningandmaintenanceofallpowertoolsusedinthebufferingprocess.
- Managestocklevelsofallconsumablesusingthebuffering processandliaisewithmanagementtoreorderifnecessary.
- Responsibleforvisualqualitycontrolonalloutgoingpartsthathavebeenbuffed.ThiswillagainbecheckedbyQCafterwards.
- Communicatewellbetweenmachineoperators,qualitycontroland management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Essential Requirements
- Haveakeeneyefordetail.
- Abletoworkindependentlyinafast-pacedmachineshop.
- Knowledgeoforexperienceusingorbitalsandersandorhand files.
- Experience working in an engineering Environment
