Production Manager

Job Description Job Description The Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and highquality manufacture of products. This role oversees production teams, drives performance through structured review processes, and implements continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager focuses on equipment reliability, team development, and process optimization to meet operational and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and support production employees to ensure safe operations and consistent product quality. Recruit, hire, and develop employees to build a strong and capable production team. Lead daily, weekly, and monthly performance review processes to track progress and reinforce action plans.

Develop and support a maintenancefocused operating structure that emphasizes equipment uptime and operator feedback. Drive coordination between production and maintenance to maximize manufacturing efficiency. Apply Lean manufacturing tools to eliminate waste and improve plant processes.

Implement process improvement strategies to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Build highperforming teams through effective communication, teambuilding initiatives, and ongoing coaching. Establish and maintain clear communication rhythms across production teams.

Support crossfunctional collaboration to meet operational goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant manufacturing experience and 3+ years of people leadership experience; or High School Diploma or GED with 9+ years of relevant manufacturing experience and 4+ years of people leadership experience.

Previous experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills. Experience using Lean or continuous improvement tools preferred.
